The Silk Road is an annual small-batch fragrance from The Holy Black, built around the spirit of the trade route itself. Mystery, distance, warmth, and the sense that what you're wearing came from somewhere far away.
The formula opens with bright bergamot and saffron. The middle is jasmine and orchid with clove and cinnamon working underneath. The base is oud, amber, sandalwood, and vanilla with myrrh lingering at the end.
Strong projection, long dry-down. This is a fragrance built for the evening and the cold. It commands space without being aggressive about it.
100ml in a dark bottle with an antique bulb sprayer and a brass scimitar charm. Every detail of the packaging was chosen to match the spirit of the formula.
