Holy Smoke

Holy Smoke! Frankincense, Myrrh, Incense smoke, candle wax, this scent evokes church and whatever that experience means to you. Frankincense has been burned ritualistically for as long as we've knew of it's existence, from the deserts of the middle east to the Vatican. Adding smoke elements helps to elevate this scent to really capture the feeling of actually burning incense. 

Almond Biscotti

The almond biscotti fragrance is an enticing blend, capturing the essence of toasted almonds with a rich, nutty allure. It intertwines the warmth of freshly baked dough with sweet vanilla and a whisper of spices, creating a comforting yet sophisticated aroma. The Sauce

Tart Cherry, Cranberry, Angastora Bitters and a Sparkling Aldehyde create this tangy, fruity,  fragrance that is sure to wake you up first thing in the morning. Sweet without being cloying, this scent is one of those ones that stays with you long after use and you will find yourself sneaking into the bathroom to steal a whiff of it in the middle of the night. Sugar Cookie

From our Christmas Cookies project, Sugar Cookie smells just like it sounds, those little pretzel shaped cookies in the blue tin. This is a crowd favorite.

Vampire Hunter

Made with real oils of Frankincense and Myrhh, this smells exactly like a Catholic church on a sunday morning. If you like resinous incense fragrances, this is the one for you.

Jazz Age

Essentially a floral on the sweet side of dry, this fragrance is blended in-house and includes top notes of Passionfruit, Mango, Tangerine, Grapefruit and Bergamot, Middle notes are Peony, Jasmine, Vanilla Orchid and Lily-of-the-Valley, with base notes including Sandalwood, Vanilla, Oakmoss, Cedarwood, Agarwood, and a touch of Ambrette musk. Made to evoke the party nights of the Roaring 20s.

Scarab 

Scarab is a polarizing scent. Red Egyptian musk, from the Ambrette plant and the only musk derived from a grain, is said to be the worlds most alluring aphrodisiac. Powerful and long lasting, fragrant musk is mixed with heartwoods and a touch of rose to tame the sometimes overwhelming musk notes. Perfectly balanced for every day wear, this perfume is a head turner. Originally formulated as a custom scent, friends who have gotten a chance to smell it have been asking us to produce it.

Black Gold

Based on our long discontinued original fragrance, Cowboy Coffee, featuring espresso and amaretto notes for a delicately gourmand experience.

Santal Royale
Majestic and captivating, "Santal Royale" is an ode to the luxurious allure of sandalwood. So… This is Christmas. This is literally what Christmas smelled like in our house growing up. This is the one fragrance for this Secret Stash drop that we are the most excited about.  A little bit of light fruit top notes with spicy undertones. Fresh pine needles and cinnamon peek their head through a Christmas wreath and hot apple cider simmers on the hearth. Perfect for that Christmas morning shave and the rest of the winter, or whenever you want to revisit the holidays.. Seasons Greetings from The Holy Black!

Superhit

Is this the greatest Nag Champa based fragrance ever made? We think so. A mix of the classic incense notes, Frangipani (Plumeria) and Sandalwood, we also added a healthy dose of West Indian Vanilla which emulates, what we think is the greatest incense ever produced; Sai Baba SuperHit. Sweet and smooth is probably the best way to describe it and every note in this fragrance tends to be a clinger, so be prepared for people to ask about it when you use this soap.

Galleon

The scent of this soap is reminiscent of days at sea on a large vessel through the Caribbean. Ocean breeze, salt air, oak, leather and dark rum will transport you to a time of pirates and privateers.

Spiced Tobacco

This initial spiciness is quickly mellowed by the rich, earthy aroma of tobacco leaves, creating a deeply comforting and masculine heart. Undertones of aged leather add a sophisticated edge, evoking the ambiance of an old library with its leather-bound books. As the fragrance settles, a subtle sweetness emerges, courtesy of vanilla and a hint of caramel, providing a perfect balance to the robust tobacco and spice. Irish Countryside
Fresh and invigorating, "Irish Countryside" captures the essence of rolling green hills and clear blue skies. Inspired by the classic Irish Spring, this fragrance opens with crisp notes of fresh-cut grass, citrus, and dewy aldehydes. A heart of lily of the valley and clean, soapy accords evoke the purity of spring water. The base is grounded with hints of moss and soft cedar, offering a refreshing and nostalgic finish.

Tell-Tale Heart

Besides the obvious ties to Edgar Allan Poe, the theme here is blood and wood. The fragrance for this exclusive set was custom blended and allowed to mature. Dragonsblood imparts a familiar powdery incense note and dominates the initial exposure to the scent. Oud(agar/aloeswood) brings a dark, almost dank feeling to the overall fragrance here as subtler notes of teak, cedar and sandalwood balance out the wood accord, almost strangely.

Durban Poison

Durban Poison is a pure sativa from a landrace strain originating in Durban, South Africa. This strain has a very distinct citrus yet piney aroma and flavor. Durban Poison has a legendary reputation for its energizing and uplifting effects and thats why we chose it as the inspiration for this fragrance. Once we found the terpene profile for this strain, we went about formulating it into a fragrance that would be an accurate analogue but would also be perfectly wearable to even the highest class event.  The fragrance is light, refined and bright. The lemon, grapefruit and bergamot notes on the open are refreshing while the hints of earth, fresh pine needles and parsley keep the scent grounded. Underlying tartness reminscent of rhubarb help to bring out that slightly "skunky" finish that really makes this fragrance shine as not just another citrus scent.
