Scarab was originally formulated as a custom scent. Not planned for release. A fragrance built for one person that turned out to be too good to keep to one person.
The core is red Egyptian musk, derived from the Ambrette plant. It's one of the only musks that comes from a grain and carries a reputation as a powerful, alluring fragrance anchor. Around that, heartwoods and a touch of rose balance the intensity of the musk and make it wearable every day, not just for special occasions.
The result is a full-bodied fragrance that projects without overwhelming. Long wear. Complex without being difficult.
